   Start beside the spool

   Leave enough tag to go around the spool and tie two small knots.

   Wrap the arbor

   Take the line around the spool and return beside the standing line.

   Tie around the standing line

   Form an overhand with the tag around the long standing part.

   Pull the tag through

   Leave enough free tag beyond this first knot for a second overhand.

   Make the tail stopper

   Tie a separate overhand in the tag end.

   Finish the stopper

   Pass its end fully through and snug the small knot.

   Snug the two overhands

   Reduce slack in both overhands and bring them toward the spool. The separate tail stopper must catch against the sliding knot.
