Start below the ring
Leave enough working end to go around the ring twice.

Make the first turn
Pass through the ring and bring the end down behind it.

Go around the hanging parts
Carry the end across the front and around the space beside the standing part.

Reverse around the ring
Make the second turn through the ring in the opposite direction.

Pass under the collar
Bring the end down behind the front collar, beside the standing part.

Snug both turns
Draw the front collar closer to the ring while keeping both hanging parts beneath it.
