Two Half Hitches

   Start below the ring

   Leave a working end long enough to go around the attachment and make two hitches.

   Go through the ring

   Thread the working end through the ring and bring it back beside the standing part.

   Make the first hitch

   Take the end around the standing part on the inside of the attachment loop.

   Cross over the first turn

   Cross the end diagonally downward over the first turn.

   Wrap a second time

   Go around the standing part again, placing the second turn farther from the ring.

   Tuck beneath the crossing

   Pass the tail under the diagonal strand that crosses the front.

   Leave a tail

   Bring the tail out without pulling it all the way through.

   Check the finish

   Two half hitches face the same way and sit outside the main loop. Pull the standing part to snug the attachment.
