Leave a generous tag
Allow enough line for a loose overhand, the eye loop and five wraps.

Make a loose overhand
Form an overhand knot and keep its opening loose.

Pass through the eye
Thread the tag through the eye and choose the size of the fixed loop.

Return through the overhand
Enter the overhand opening from the face where the tag originally came out.

Start wrapping the standing line
Make turns around the long standing part above the overhand.

Complete five turns
Keep five turns side by side. The suitable count depends on your line.

Return through the original opening
Bring the tag down on the back and through the overhand to the front. Do not add an extra tuck through the larger return loop.

Gather the knot body
Bring the standing-line wraps together. Preserve the open eye loop and the return through the original overhand.
